Job Description: 

Technical Project Manager – B2B Data Integration

A global travel technology provider is looking for a talented and experienced Technical Project Manager to join their team in west London either with expertise in data integration project management.

Purpose for Role:

Reporting to the Global Integration Manager, the successful Project Manager is an expert in data integration solutions. The Technical Project Manager must understand customer integration needs in order to provide consultancy, guidance and implement technical solutions for their customers. Closely collaborates with Customer Support and consulting teams on customer projects and all technical aspects of customer deployments.

Essential Core Skills / Experience:

  • Proven experience in a comparable role.
  • Proven ability to lead a technical project with software experience in technology

Preferably experience in one or more of the following:

  • Experience in .NET Development (C#)
  • Experience in SQL (Oracle)
  • Knowledge of an ETL tool is a plus
  • Some experience with JavaScript, PHP, XML

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Working as part of the Global Integration Services team the Technical PM is responsible for the data integration projects and maintenance of customer integration.
  • Project management for the deployment of new customers.
  • Leading technical workshops.
  • Understanding and analysing customer integration needs.
  • Preparing and supporting customer deployments.
  • Consistently delivers exceptional quality of their projects and of the data integration platform.
  • Quickly ramps up on new product releases and functionality and assesses their impact on existing integration solutions.
  • Design, development and maintenance of data integration solutions, in compliance with the Payment Card Industry data security standard.
  • Creation and delivery of internal and external presentations and trainings regarding areas of expertise above.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate degree or diploma in a relevant technology area; e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering or Engineering.
