Commercial Support Executive - Air ref: J468

Job Description: 

Rare opportunity for a Commercial Support Exc with Business Travel and Air Fares expertise to join a fast expanding travel company based from home and London office.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Commercial Manager in negotiation of supplier agreements
  • Manage collection of data from suppliers
  • Analyse data and provide reporting to maintain and enhance benefits.
  • Process statistics and calculate payments to members
  • Manage relationships with suppliers specifically related to enhancing offerings and information
  • Manage billing
  • Fare analysis and benchmarking of existing content and negotiation of new fare content
  • Provide back-up for fare distribution
  • Provide consultative services on fare queries and opportunities
  • Represent at industry events, partner and supplier meetings
  • Manage Value Added Programmes
  • Maintain documentation
  • First line support for general membership enquiries
  • Document processes
  • Perform ad-hoc duties determined by business requirements

Skills Required:                 

  • Highly organised and efficient individual with a keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of GDS’- preferably all three major ones
  • Knowledge of Fare calculation / Fare distribution
  • Experience working through ticket based helpdesk
  • Experience of presenting in a virtual environment
  • An excellent communicator who knows how to motivate and get the very best out of people, make complex look simple – in either face-to-face or virtual environment, and articulate key messages to a diverse audience
  • Report Production
  • Microsoft Office Suite (in particular Excel)
