Vendor Manager - Global Technology Suppliers ref: J325

Job Description: 

Our client are world leaders in Travel Technology, they are experts in providing critical Technology to Airports around the globe and are looking for a Vendor Manager to join their west London team.  The Vendor Manager will manage all 3rd party vendors globally for Airport IT, this includes large global vendors through to smaller bespoke solution providers.

It is a busy and demanding role, the Vendor Manager will successfully manage and build long lasting relationships as well as monitoring performance and supporting sales bids with the assistance of an internal team.


  • Managing all key relationship with vendors globally
  • Achieving the best solutions and profit margins from suppliers
  • Monitoring performance, and reporting to internal departments
  • Understand commercials, contracts, pricing, international Tax
  • Build long term relationship with suppliers
  • Gain market insight, new products/services
  • Help improve process internally
  • Set SLA
  • Support Sales Bids, with vendor support
  • Manage change request from clients/vendors


  • Experience in Vendor management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Very strong influencing, negotiation skills.
  • Drive vendor performance
  • Used to working in a fast moving and demanding business environment
  • Experience of Airport, Airline and Travel industry is desirable but not necessary
