As part of the Product team this role is responsible for the ownership and pro-active management of payment products in the travel marketplace. You will be the key interface in the commercial team between the market being served and the broader Product Delivery and Technology teams, responsible for defining and owning the roadmap for payment products and propositions in the travel market, including identification of fixes / enhancements as well as building out a more comprehensive product roadmap in this area.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a detailed understanding of the external market being served including a comprehensive view of the competitive environment. The role will also involve acting as back-up to other Product Managers responsible for products supporting wider B2B payment flows.
Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for payment solutions in the travel vertical (50%)
Act as the interface between the market and delivery functions (15%)
Act as the voice of travel product within the organisation and the marketplace (15%)
Support the Sales Process by assisting the Business Development Managers build client proposals for travel payment opportunities (15%)
Provide back-up cover to other Product Managers in the Product Team (5%)
