Partnership Manager - GDS

As a partnership manager, you'll take on a unique and global challenge, managing a tech partnership that spans continents for a UK-based travel-tech company.

About the position:

As Partnerships Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• Fostering and developing the relationship between our client and the tech partner (GDS), proactively seeking opportunities to increase the scope of the relationship.

• Driving engagement with the GDS to ensure our client remains a trusted, consultative business partner.

• Promoting the platform to increase awareness both within tech partner and with their customers.

• Identifying additional opportunities for collaboration.

• Managing product development and partnership initiatives, working closely with internal stakeholders and teams.

• Developing and maintaining a good understanding of the technical solutions and integrations, articulating the requirements and implications to key stakeholders.

• Manage joint work programmes, such as platform development for integrations.

• Participate in joint business development activities alongside members of the Commercial team.

• Collaborating with Commercial Account Managers on retention and commercial growth for existing joint customers.

The ideal candidate will have:

Commercially minded with a consultative approach, with proven experience achieving company growth through managing and strategically growing partnerships.

• Strong relationship management, influencing and negotiating skills.

• Technically minded, with experience working in an enterprise software environment.

• The ability to manage multiple competing priorities and partner with stakeholders to deliver results.

• Ability to travel overseas regularly for customer meetings and industry events.

• Knowledge of GDS's reservation systems, with experience working for a B2B tech or travel company.

• Great under pressure with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to adapt to different cultures.

• Exceptional written and presentation skills.
