Our client is a B2B Software company and is looking for a Product Owner / Business Analyst with expertise in Software Development Life cycle, Agile development practices, Co-ordinate / manage the delivery of software application systems etc to work Remotely.

ROLE:

To deliver value to both their internal and external customer base.

Driving change and always looking for the best outcome/best practice

Gathering and understanding user functional and non-functional requirements and taking them from concept to creation.

Working with cross skilled delivery teams to ensure they are always delivering maximum value.

Application of change management techniques to ensure that their releases are seamless, and all stakeholders are engaged, supported and informed.

Contributing to and creating supporting documentation for internal use

Supporting organizational growth and transformation into product delivery streams

Be able to establish and articulate the vision or target benefits to stakeholder groups and delivery teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Working with stakeholders to agree scope and priority of changes, considering internal and external use (where applicable) and aligning to the customer journey.

Write user stories and define acceptance criteria for the initiative incorporating any non-functional or technical requirements and obtain sign off by presenting these back to stakeholders.

Work with the delivery teams where relevant to ensure the stories are broken down into acceptable issues facilitating acceptance into a sprint.

Provide regular, timely and accurate stakeholder updates on progress via the relevant medium as defined in any communication plan.

Feed back into the Business Technology roadmap where there are changes to priority and/or timescales.

Contribute to the management and refinement of the Product Backlogs both within the Projects and the Development teams.

Assist the Head of Program Delivery in the correct ordering of the stories and other issues and the planning of future sprints based on business benefit and prioritization.

Create launch and roll out plans for releases, ensure any risks are identified and mitigated where applicable.

Perform or facilitate any UAT testing on behalf of the business.

Co-ordinate and monitor any internal and external User Acceptance testing phases, triaging any defects found or issues encountered to a satisfactory resolution.

Provide demo’s and documentation to stakeholders such as release notes and support relevant stakeholders and Marketing with communications and other documentation in order to facilitate launch readiness and planning.

Provide go/no go decision and sign off to development.

Provide product and business knowledge during pitch meetings with Sales team, Proposition team and third parties, support to queries during the on-boarding process to help the company engage new partnerships.

Ensure success metrics are considered and implemented so that they can measure the impact and benefits gained from each change.

Support and work with the Lead Product Owner to understand and consider their customer journey and product solution as a whole and apply consistent best practice through the SDLC.

The ideal candidate will have most of the following experiences:

Exposure to the full software development life cycle and agile development practices.

Experience coordinating /managing the delivery of software applications and systems.

Experience of requirements gathering and prioritization with ability to translate these into deliverable user stories.

Understanding of project management techniques and disciplines.

Experience of coordinating / managing development teams through the SDLC.

Experience of coordinating / managing cross-functional stakeholders, both internal and external.

Business justification identification and project initiation knowledge.

Proficient in use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Jira experience or similar tooling preferable.

Degree level education desirable or the equivalent level of on-the-job learning.

Working knowledge of projects methodologies and project management principles would be advantageous.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain professional in challenging situations, ensuring empathy with others whilst giving messages.
