Our client is a leading travel tech company that sells flights. They serve over 30 million travellers annually in over 75 countries and are partners of major OTAs worldwide.
Due to significant investment in fintech products, we are seeking a senior Product Manager with expertise in the insurance industry and the travel industry would be beneficial.
Main responsibilities are:
Become the relevant market expert concerning digital insurance and fintech products, including regulatory implications and best practices.
● Perform fintech products/solutions evaluation processes, including new providers and expected impact, by formulating business cases using a number-driven and multifaceted approach, including economics, customer experience, performance, and strategic focus.
● Monitor and assess competition at partner, market, and product levels and the company's competitiveness from the offering perspective.
● Define the business requirements for implementing new products and provide clear guidelines for the cross-functional leads involved, including development.
● Manage fintech products' onboarding, ensure business alignment amongst functions, and coordinate internal and external partners to ensure a smooth transition.
● Maintained top responsibility for operational and financial payments—product performance. Defined financial objectives and KPIs and ensured the required analytics were implemented and the respective dashboards reflected the expected information.
● Manage communications with existing partners on operational and product aspects, attend QBRs to ensure they are up-to-date with new products and opportunities, and drive deriving action plans.
● Support RFPs for new partners using a well-organized approach to assess whether the new partners' capabilities fit with ETG's needs and tech ecosystem.
● Work closely with data analysts to assess the performance of Fintech products/solutions/ partners to take corrective actions.
● Stay up-to-date with market trends in the fintech and travel tech industry to propose new initiatives and innovative solutions with high impact.
The ideal background:
● Background in a commercial product-centric and/or business development role within a growth-oriented, fast-paced digital business, where accountability for aspirational targets is set.
● Experience in the Fintech or/and Travel-tech (OTA, Flights, NDC, GDS's) Industry will be considered a plus.
● Ability to independently navigate through complexities and provide clarity to a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders to achieve commitment towards results
● Strong numerical & organizational skills combined with business understanding
● Data-driven/360 view thinking along with strong critical, analytical and investigation skills
● Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership in a fast-growing environment
● Ability to prioritize, effectively handle multiple projects under a minimum supervision and honour deadlines
● Ability to act proactively, take initiative and pay attention to detail
● Strong communication skills & excellent command of the English language
● High level of response & integrity combined with eagerness to work in a multicultural, international environment subject to continuous changes
